Things to Remember

Holiday Sing-Along
We went and sang Christmas carols at the Capital with the Colombo’s last night. Such a fun sentence.

Holy Bats!!
The exit you take for our house is also the home to over a million bats and it is a close second in size to the bat colony under the Congress bridge. We see them all the time, but always find ourselves taking pictures like a bunch of tourists.

I made these the other day for a small crawfish boil (well, picked up boiled crawfish and brought them home) we had to kick off summer. Another Pinterest-inspired creation and it is SO easy. Buy waffle cones. Cut up fresh fruit. Put fresh fruit in the waffle cones. Tada! And they are so pretty…

Work (and Play) Trip to San Francisco
I got to go to San Francisco at the beginning of this month for a seminar hosted by my office. Since I had never been, I decided to stay a few extra days and invite my mom and Aunt Pat along.
