Notes &
Busy, busy, busy…
Funny how life gets in the way of writing about life…and the failure to upload my pictures from my camera. Not too sure why it is so hard for me to transfer my pictures from the camera to the computer, but it makes blog writing kind of hard (and boring for the readers) when I don’t have any pictures.
So, with that said…here is what we have been up to:
1. I got a new car!! Traded my tiny little Civic in for a new Honda CRV (yes, we ARE a Honda family…Accord, Civic, Element, CRV…)! Nice to have four doors again and plenty of space for a not-needed-quite-yet carseat… ;)

2. We have made a little progress on the bathroom (after a LONG hiatus). We put the tiles on the back splash last night and painted the mirror for above the sink. We still have a few more steps for the tiles, need to get a shower curtain and some more decor, but it is coming together nicely.
Tiling isn’t near as hard as we thought…and we have NO idea what we are doing! So far, very do-it-yourself easy! Let us know if you are thinking about tackling some tiles and we will let you know if we learned anything from our experience.

Ladies, recognize the shirt? Sorry to say it is being used for grout clean-up!
3. Jay mentioned awhile back that we have been trying hard to get ready for summer and our trip to Mexico. So, I have been very busy with Camp Gladiator! I found this bootcamp/fitness camp through a Groupon (great service…you should check it out) and decided to give it a try for a month. After the first month, I was hooked. They have tons of locations at all different times of the day and I can go as many times as I want. I signed up for 6 months (much cheaper that way) and am ending my third session this week.

The owner, Ally Davidson, has an amazing story (that you can read here) and brings so much energy to the grueling workout she puts you through EVERY time!
They have camps in Dallas, too, and I recommend it to anyone! Be sure to tell them I referred you! ;)
4. We have also been working on our yard quite a bit and have a pretty good plan for the next few months (garden, deck, horseshoe pit…). We will put up a full post about that in the coming weeks.
Cheers!
