Ahhhh…the last few weekends have been so nice. We have had little to no plans (and we don’t count family in town as plans, since that is just as relaxing), so there has been a lot of this:

Heehee…I just love that dog.

So, this post is just a little picture-heavy peek into how we spend our no-plans weekends. Enjoy!

• A Little Home Improvement

We hung the mantle that we have had for EVER!

We hit up some garage sales and scrounged up some great finds…that definitely need some TLC. ($4 each!)

We crammed an As-Is Ikea door ($10) in to the car for an uncomfortable ride home…it will be our new not-too-sure-how-we-will-hang-it-yet master bathroom door. Fun times!

And…we pulled up the pee pad (also known as carpet) in the dining room with hopes of sanding and staining. We eventually just bought more laminate flooring to match the rest of the house…because we are lazy like that. Nope…we won’t even be installing them ourselves.

• A Little Friend/Family Pool/Lake/River Time

• A Little Movie-Going (actually, a lot! Gramma will be proud!)

• With a Decemberists concert and lots more friend time and pool time in between…it’s been a good summer.
