No? Well, tough cookies, chief, cause you’re getting some tunes today. I spent most of this long hot summer floating in bodies of water while imbibing various frosty beverages. All the while, playing in the background were a few new artists that I’ve recently discovered…in much the same way Columbus discovered America (Get it? Hint: he didn’t).

So, below are a handful of my favorite* summer jingles for your jangle. Enjoy.

*One notable omission: The new Bon Iver really good, but is in no way a summer album. I’m waiting for cloudy, sub-40 degree weather, so I can grow a beard, put on a wool parka and listen to that album on repeat until the sun comes back out.
